The Operational Reality: Early Integration is Non-Negotiable

Treating urban greening as a retrospective "add-on" to satisfy a planning officer triggers major delays, design rejections and ballooning structural costs. If a design requires an intensive green roof to pass the local UGF threshold, those dead load and live load calculations must be factored into the structural engineering, foundations and framing from the very beginning.
